Middle School Girls Take 2nd Place!
Our girls brought the 2nd place trophy home after they played in the championship game on Mother’s Day!
On the roster is Saba & Sophia Beig, Abi & Hanna Bereket, Arianna Giannikos and Joelle Khoury. Georgoulla Garibaldi and Sophia Matsis subbed in for a game against Ascension and helped us bring home a win.
Our girls did a remarkable job representing our Church. They played every game with a lot of heart and hustle. They showed the best sportsmanship in the league and always gave it their all! This year Holy Cross, Ascension and St. Gregory had teams in the league. Because of busy schedules and low numbers, we had to share teammates occasionally and play for other teams. As a result, we enjoyed getting to know other middle school girls in the Bay Area.
