FAITH FUN FELLOWSHIP
JOY and GOYA strengthen the relationship of young Orthodox Christians with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The program works to educate and edify young members of the Church, encouraging them to become active sacramental participants in the life of the Body of Christ. This ministry offers them the opportunity to experience the Faith, ultimately leading them to Salvation.
JOY (Junior Orthodox Youth) is a ministry to strengthen the relationship of young Orthodox Christians (2nd-5th graders) with one another and with Christ.
GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) serves two age groups: Junior GOYA (6-8th) and Senior GOYA (9-12th). GOYA has been structured to provide a safe space and opportunity for all youth to discuss how and why to live an Orthodox life in this day and age.
Senior GOYA has its own board comprised of elected Sr. GOYAns who meet and plan monthly events which align with the GOYA ministry mission.
Each of our Youth Ministries meet at least once a month, in addition to participating in the many family events within the parish, and the Metropolis of San Francisco regional events. We also hold some events which encompass all youth age groups.
